Description

A little something I put together a few years ago, trying to mimic Michael Cassette's sound on their remix of Crockett's Theme. Didn't get around to make a longer version with more happening in it, but still think the take off part worked out well.

A mix between Vengeance samples, Nexus 2 plugins. Also SID station from reFX with its Turrican sound doubles the bassline with some punchy 16th notes giving it the groove.

Sweet lead, I was left wanting more when the melody departed. A second verse might well have been in order. Also really dig the twinkling bell synths around the minute-and-ten mark when the song dips down for a few bars

Yeah, I had intentionally thought of making it longer, but never got around to it. I'm a sucker for twinkly bells and colourful soundscapes.

If I get my old setup up again, I'll probably make it longer.
