  • So you didn't make it using Buzz?
  • Excuse me for asking that. :P Welcome back.
  • Not this track, as I was told all types of music software was allowed, however with "Thur the Crystal", Buzz was used as well as Reaper and the like.
    Thanks
  • I was wondering what it's like to compose in Reaper? You know anything about that? Like compared to Buzz?
  • Well its full MIDI which is nice, you can simply compose via the time line type but its hard or difficult to keep a beat going meaning drums, that is the reason I use Renoise so I can sync the two. With buzz I can't sync it with Reaper. I used an old machine in buzz once to write "Thur the Crystal" and had it synced but It wasn't solid like real sync so in turn I had to press play on both programs quickly and then mixdown. Reaper is great because you can use VSTi VST and its built in DSP, Reaper is of course fully functional without the payment though.

Reaper is just pure midi sequencing pretty much, but its very powerful I would say give it a try, it's very different than Buzz as buzz is purely modular and Reaper is chained effects and VSTi.. Etc

Working together you can do a lot with Reaper and Buzz, great mastering etc.

Unlimited Tracks with Reaper and you can fine tune your sequences since using a MIDI keyboard like a Yamaha I use for recording melodies and beats.
  • I'm kind of new to the scene here on buzztunes but I have been keeping up with the music since 2005 in the Buzz Scene, just lately though I uploaded some tracks here and good to met everyone

Have used Buzz since 2005 though, I might upload some wacky stuff made with it sometime.
