Description
Well, hello world!

Another heavy track, somewhere, between Rock and Metal with a touch of old school Artrock.

I used two real guitars, one for the lead, one for the two rhythms. Both played and recorded through free virtual guitar amps.

A real bass guitar was "hammered" too (this time with a more clean sound!).

Drums are free VST. The reverb on the guitar is normal HalyVerb ...

Everything recorded and arranged within buzz ...

  • I like it! Sounds very solid. I really like the bassline.
  • Good one! I enjoyed a lot the bass. Adds a lot to the song. The guitars are top Thanks!
  • "Thank you kindly" (to quote some great Rock 'n' Roller ). I took only four samples for the bass, so it came out a bit more groovy. Finally I found out about a little bug on my sound-drivers setup, it always added some reverb to the whole thing, so the guitar was never really dry, especially with compression on it ... this time it worked. I also took another recorder within buzz this time.

good work... i can hear everything!
  • Hey, thanks again to the italian section. I'm glad you like this one, it's more old school rock, but it was fun to do it ...

Hey Buzztler, now i am doing electronic music with Buzz, but till 3 years ago I was the keyboardist with a local band and we played in many pubs the covers of classic pop rock from '70 to '90. Our covers was taken from : Police, Toto, Brian Adams, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Genesis, Who, and many others (also from italian artists as Ligabue, Vasco, PFM, etc.). So the rock sound is still in my soul !!! .... and maybe , who knows, in the future it would be cool to do a sort of reunion of the band and build up a live concert. N.B. I haven't found yet a machine or a VST that gives me that sound charachter of a genuine and real electric guitars. Ciao.

@ flos: ?!? @ BHS: If you wanna have a good guitar simulation, check out the Hamst3rs Super Riff Song setup. He used a very good amp and guitar simulation. The amp is outstanding 'cause it has a fine feature built in u find out if you dig a bit deeper and a person with midi-knowledge like u can do a lot with it! Btw u have written a fine control for one of your often used synths, I checked it out a longer time ago, well done ... .
  • Nice one, I find this tune has a little psyched flavor which I specially enjoy.
