Here is the "remastered" final version now. The dynamics are much better, especially the higher frequencies!
That is how the track should sound from the beginning. Some plugin reduced the "pressure" in the former version ...

    you found the right knob
  • Found out, you only hear a great difference, between the two "versions" of the track, if you use Foobar 2000 to listen, in some other players the tracks sound almost the same. Has to do with a gain analyzer tool I used, funny. So, please don't be disappointed, perhaps test it ... it's truth ...
  • Rock on!
  • Thank you for your comments. @ ionisaattor: I'll do so, sometimes I like some metal stuff

I listened to this carefully... the mix is louder (WAY louder in foobar :S), drums have better compression (is it possible?)... very good mix. Anyway let me repeat... this song roxxx! Up teh rockers! Btw: Don't give up Buzztler, if there's health, there's everything... Ciao!

Hey, old sponge, a really solid track. Much better than previous version. Maybe with a bass line more in evidence it would even better. Great respect for live instruments. Can you explain your work flow for recording live instruments and to keep in sync with buzz. I am always curious with this tecnical stuff. Thanks.
  • @ mag: just thanks @ flos: Yep, rmx is louder, way louder in foobar, 'cause foobar supports "gain replay" gave a bit more compression to the whole thang (oh yeah). Btw listened to your "Bad Trip III"-track, sounds pretty creepy ... . @ BHS: I knew someone had to mention the missing bassline . So, hello again BHS, and thank you for your comment.I explained the way of recording several times before, but the stuff is lost and so I do it again . I still use an old buzz "overloader" setup, (never touch a running buzz ). With it's help I'm able to play a buzztrack and do recordings at the same time within the same buzz. I use an "ASIO setup" and "multiple streaming" for this purpose. ASIO is important for low "latency". A fast harddisk is also recommended. So I am able to listen and record my live played instrument via headphones and at the same time the other virtual band members play their instruments in buzz, so there is no problem to "jam with yourself". The recorded tracks are "brushed up a bit" in auda and integrated into buzz via Matilde Tracker (rc7 works great, thanks "Jogi" you are a real Guru). This may not be the "holy grale" of buzz recording, but it works for me. I can't explain everything in detail here, so if you want to know more, please refer to the buzzmachines dot com page searching for: Overloader, Multitrack or ASIO, you'll see this stuff is a very old possibility within buzz, that's why I wanted to give buzz a try, 'cause other programs weren't able to do that ... . Finally thank's to all buzz developer's, please keep on programming buzz machine's, they have great sound and possibilities and a very low cpu consumption. Hey ho, let's go!!!
  • @ flos: hey buddy, hope you got my stuttered english right, I enjoyed your track "Bad Trip III" a lot and found the feeling you create "creepy", not the track or mastering, hope this is more clear now . (btw you find the track on fm)
