- Description
- Silly acid dance piece with a silly name. I started this one back last November, but I hit a creative block & it sat on my hard drive in a state of uncertainty. I never figured out where to go with it, so it's short, but I think it's fun to listen to which is all that matters. "Rabbit" was supposed to be a working title but it grew on me... the beginning is just so bouncy it seems to fit. The ending gets increasingly spacey and I really didn't know how to finish it, so I just threw stuff at it until something worked. Sort of. I hope.
This tune is comprised of, essentially, an SH101 and a x0xb0x multi-tracked and layered many times, and a few VSTs/Buzzmachines (one of which is another (virtual) SH101.) I structured everything by playing short patterns as samples and because of that it is very remixable, so don't be surprised if you see a Rabbit 2.0 in the future. And hey, if you want to have a go at it yourself, by all means contact me for the stems or bmx file!

Bad recording quality (laptop line-in) + lots of reverb. :/
I have a somewhat better audio interface now, but I would have had to go and redo *all* the 303+SH101 patterns & that's a lot of work for a song I didn't know how to finish. Will likely remix this in the future and clean up the samples at the same time.
