  • This is an interesting track.

Immediately I kinda got that Alan Parson's Project feeling about it in the first seconds on the ARP. Then the ARP expands at 0:11 to include the baselines, which just transforms it within something like Bronski Beat, but without the beat, then the hats just puts you in Parson again at 0:24. Maybe even some Franky goes to hollywood feel. then @ 1:00 i just feel like Art of Nosie because of the conga'. But then get just surprised once again  @ 1:12..... and I just need to think of Daft Punk / mainly Tron sound track for a bit.

I think you should have build it up from there, and left the pulse wave out 2:07 doesnt work for me. But all in all thanks a lot for sharing this, its an inspiration.

  • oh b.t.w. Is that Neelix from ST Voyager? "She's always was taking me out to explore"

  • Yeah, it's definitely Neelix.
    An outstanding piece, Louigi, thanks.
  • Sjef, funny review. Don't know any of those bands. Heard of Daft Punk but never listened to their music apart from "Around the world" (which is cool) and Tron soundtrack (which I found dull).
This whole album had a concept of having short tunes based on simple chord progressions. So I did not want to build up big arrangements.

As for the quote... you do know your ST Voyager, don't you guys?
  • Short but delightful!
