...[quote Pat]I guess it's really strange to hear oneself being sliced...yeah, especially the first time when you sliced with dexterity in 2005 (long time !)a sample of my guitar, now I start to be accustomed to it and I like that !...the hexadecimal system, the offset use is so complex for my sparrow brain …but as you are also highly skilled instructor, maybe,...maybe,...I could make the same stuff if you post a killer review (a dream for me) by explaining step by step your method,...anyway keep on buzzin' Pat !
  • Pattern Man
    OK, i'll try:
    Unwieldy Offset Values
    00|----0000----| Sample Start, First Quart
    01|------------|
    02|----2000----|
    03|------------|
    04|----4000----| Second Quart
    05|------------|
    06|----6000----|
    07|------------|
    08|----8000----| Third Quart
    09|------------|
    10|----A000----|
    11|------------|
    12|----C000----| Fourth Quart
    13|------------|
    14|----E000----|
    15|------------|
Now you need to find the 'right' part of the sample somewhere between these values.
If it's somewhere in the first quart, increase 0000 by 100 steps to narrow down the point you want to trigger. When you are near, increase by 10 etc.
This is easier, when the sample is as long as the pattern and the timing is right. If not, you just have to try harder.
That's it, basically. In Matilde it's almost the same, only the values go from 00 to 80. Have another look at those hexademical numbers - they are sparrow brain compatible. I MUST know it.

Oh, shit, i forgot to end the bold text
  • THANKS a lot Pat !! for your clear review I think that I understood all but to be sure about it I must initially apply your method with Unwieldy Tracker in first and I would say to you if I succeeded...*crossing fingers*...thanks again Instructor Man !
