Description

I created this to gain some experience in ethnic music as well as to learn some humanization processing effects (specifically the flute). In addition I have been captivated by the Native American wood flutes and their amazing spiritual sounds.

Used are Pico Flute, Sonic Verb, Ninja Delay, D500, FSM Tuna, Matilde Tracker and some samples from freesound as well as some native vocal samples taken from a youtube documentary on Native American Language.

I hope you enjoy it. It is written for my 2 sons and the meaning of their names hence White Hawk-Mighty River.

Very true to the ethnic background. Not much going on accept for the light perc. and wood flute. It has a very calming effect on the mind. Very tasteful and smart.

To make the flute more real I would variate the level a bit more, especially at the last tones of the melodic lines. And it could give more effect if you add a vibration on it from time to time a bit more. Like it a lot!! Cheers

The next best thing to getting a real flute would be using Camel Audio's Camel Space Additive synth for this. It has some real nice flute sounds.
