- I dicked around for over 10 hours with this trying to get the filtered bass and the kicks from distorting. Was driving me mad as hell then tried using Automaton's Comp MKII which I'd never bothered to look into and realised it's a fully fledged sidechain comp that lets you take signal from any source and use it to comp and signal on another source. I'll never cease to be amazed at how many total gems of machines there are lurking out there from 20+ years ago! Anyhow it's a decent take of the tune and I'm 95% happy with the drums/bass now which is a whole load more than I was this afternoon when I was nearly ready to pack it all in!
