Description
a breakfast addition ... i deleted the mag piano sample and used the imported peerchord-mda piano connection from the original instead ... added peerscale (i guess the minor bebop scale in F should fit here) ... made some small things (many more possible imo)

  • I liked a lot the new piano patterns you added. I think that the next (hope) buzzer should fiddle around these new chords. Thanks!! I wanted to ask : what does peerscale here ? I didnt understand very well what's the use for this machine. I know that it can be used for micro tuning but here, in this song, what is the goal ? I think that when you call yourself blue note you HAVE to jam on this one
  • blue note ... blue note ... blue note !!!!
magma ... PeerScale is not primarily for microtuning, although a lot of scales listed are microtonal, i think. helps to find chords fitting to a certain key or scale.
Right click on PeerScale and select 'choose scale' .Here i entered the notes you used and set it to 'Containing ... all of'. After that the possible scales are limited. Now i browsed through the root notes to see which might fit best. The 'minor bebop' scale in F had all your notes and chords. ...
Alright ... press ok and assign it to PeerChord. Now move the 'PeerMe!' slider and you will have a bunch of chords - all fitting into that scale. A very helpful composition tool !!
This is just a short 'how to'. Dig deeper into musical theory tu understand it better - something i should do myself !
  • blue note…
